What will be expected of me?

Your commitment to and trust in the process. Attendance at all sessions, completion of all group work, reports, and the teaching exam to a satisfactory level are necessary for accreditation. Homework and short online assignments start a week before the immersion, and the required reading list will be provided to the group several weeks before the training commences.

Can I still teach if I have physical limitations or my body doesn’t allow me to access certain poses?

Absolutely! Every student and teacher is dealing with limitations in varying degrees and aspects. Understanding and accepting one’s own limitations helps to understand and accept limitations in others, which contributes greatly to not only teaching but to deepening one’s own practice. Yoga is a journey of self discovery, it is not about achieving a certain pose or level of flexibility, but rather cultivating awareness, compassion and inner peace.
